MEFiSTo
is a full 3D simulator (PC/Windows) well known to the research and electronics community because it is easy to use and has some very unique features.
MEFiSTo is based on the Transmission Line Method, TLM (see
Methods),
a method that is in many ways similar to the Finite Difference Time Domain but does not have the stability problems sometimes
associated with FDTD.

EM3DS is an advanced program (PC/Windows)
based on the method of moments, MOM (see
Methods):
- surface integral version
for very fast computations (neglecting the thickness and resistivity of the metallic layers)
- volumetric version for full 3D computations that include finite conductivity, thick metallization, skin effect etc.
Unlike most MOM based commercial simulators, EM3DS - due to the true 3D character of the method used -
can analyze realistic structures and realistic high frequency effects in ICs, planar components and other devices.

AMaze is a set of powerful FEM(see
Methods) 3D programs (Win/Linux) for Electrostatics, Magnetostatics and low frequency RF simulations in lossy media.
Unlike other 3D FEM programs AMaze's unique conformal-mesh technology creates optimal hexahedron elements while preserving logical structure.
The results are impressive numerical accuracy, efficient use of computer resources and high-speed operation.
The streamlined scripts and graphical capabilities of the automatic mesh generator make mesh creation fast and easy.
Most important, the affordable prices of the AMaze programs make them accessible to everybody.
